  1. No doubt that this book will sell like hot cakes.

It’s easy to read and follow.

  2. I can hardly believe it’s a diet book! Inviting, colorful, fun, and nutritious. Easy to understand and easy to implement. This could be the most important investment you make in yourself (and family) in 2010.

  3. I’ve tried a few diets. I’m generally pretty healthy, and know what I should and shouldn’t eat. But since we had a baby (11 years ago now!) I haven’t been as diligent in my good eating or disciplined about getting exercise. As a result, I’ve gained about 25 pounds over the last decade, and for the past couple of years have tried all the popular diets. Atkins (lot’s of beef and bacon – no fruits, no fiber); Nutrisystem (cardboard astronaut food) and others. Lost some pounds, gained it all back when I stopped following the diet.

Then I heard from a friend about the “Full Plate Diet” – not a diet in the “fad diet” kind of way or in the verb usage as in “I’m dieting”, but in the traditional noun definition, as in – “the types of foods you eat.” I was one of the 20,000 people that ordered the “pre-release” version of the book, which I got in July. I started it in August, and followed the three simple steps – drink more water, stop eating when you are full, and eat tasty foods with more fiber.

I’ve always been a fan of bean burritos, and I learned how I could turn the typical fast food taco joint burrito into a 17 grams of fiber, low-fat, delicious powerhouse. By following some easy tips and making small, subtle shifts in what I ate, I started noticing I didn’t get my normal hunger spike in the afternoon, I snacked less and gradually began losing some weight. By mid-September I had lost 7 pounds – not a ton, but pretty good for not really doing anything special. By December 1, I had hit my goal of losing 20 pounds. And guess what, over the holidays, I only gained 2 pounds! For me, that’s pretty cool! I’ll lose another 5-10 pounds in the next month or so, then I’m good, and I’ll just maintain the changes in my “diet”. Great work you guys – I love it!

  4. This book is BRIGHT in that its colors and pictures and format draw you in as compared to most wordy and bland diet books. The instructions are simple, logical, and really make you want to try it. But the final test is the results … after two months (AND through the holiday season) I am down 15 pounds and look forward to hitting my goal of 75 later this new year!

  5. I can’t thank the authors enough for writing this book. There are tons of other ways to lose weight but this one is the most simple and easiest way to do so! Trust me I have tried enough to know that! I can’t wait for the book to arrive as I have ordered multiple copies for friends and family that had been struggling with the same weight/health concerns. I can’t wait to help change their lives like this book has changed my life!
