Symptoms of Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome
Have you had a tubal ligation? Have you had weird things happening to your body? And no matter how many trips you make to the doctor nor how many tests she runs, you still don’t have a diagnosis…or one that makes any real sense. If so, then it’s possible that you are suffering from the symptoms of post tubal ligation syndrome. Others call is post tubal syndrome.
You may have run into it with your own doctor or you may have learned about it while researching the Internet trying to find out just what is wrong with you, but you probably have heard that most doctors believe ptls to be a medical myth. However, since you have been looking you have probably found sites that list anywhere from 35 to 45 different symptoms. In this article, I’m going to relate the symptoms learned first hand from the women who are suffering from them.
For Miranda it all started with pain around her hips. Then she started having messed up periods. Whereas before they used to be five days long, she was now still spotting two weeks later. She had loss of energy, headaches and she was losing her hair. How horrible to start worrying about hair loss in your 20s.
Dannygirl ( a tubal-reversal.net forum name) had headaches, severe weight gain, mood swings, loss of libido, depression and pain with her period. She also suffered hair loss as many women do that suffer from post tubal ligation syndrome. She said her hair came out by the handfuls. Her hair loss was extreme enough that other people were noticing. Again, not something you want to suffer with in your 20s.
The same general symptoms seem to be shared by many of the women. Rebecca became extremely angry and had emotional outbursts. She also suffered from terrible cramping, headaches and a loss of libido. These last two plus the mood swings seem to show up in many of the stories of post tubal ligation syndrome women.
Skate is another woman suffering from what begins to seem like the same list over and over. She has loss of libido, migraines, anxiety off the charts, and weight gain. Her periods are longer and harder and have clotting and painful, absurd uncontrollable bleeding. It makes it difficult to be in society with these type of symptoms not to mention the suffering the your family must endure as well.
If you find while reading this article that these stories seem to sound just like what you are going through, then the first thing you may want to do is seek out some support. A search on the web will help you find a forum where others who suffer as you do congregate to provide that virtual shoulder to cry on. Further they may just help you find the information you need to find out what you can actually do for yourself to remedy, as much as possible, what you are going through with post tubal ligation syndrome.
